Jenna chuckled. "You try being pregnant and not allowed to do anything and see how long it takes you to start counting the days," she teased.
Was she excited? She wanted the pregnancy to end, certainly. She wanted her life back, being able to train and move and not have constant back pains. On the other hand she wasn't looking forward to night time feedings, diaper changes or never getting any sleep. When she thought of her son, it was as an older child, someone she could talk to and teach stuff to, a person rather than a baby. That excited her.
"I am a Marine," she corrected him. "You don't stop being a Marine, it's in your blood and yeah, it's different. I suppose I'll find out just how different in seven weeks," she said with a smile.
