RP: Eliot/Savannah
Who: Eliot/Savannah
Where: The stable
When: 12-16-11
Summary: Checking tack and conversation.
Eliot was in the stable going over every item of tack. Some of it he could see: the bits, the rings, and the buckles. Other things he was doing by touch, and he was slightly pleased how familiar and easy it was to know what was good and what may need repair. It may have been going on twenty years since he'd done this regularly, but it felt like only hours.
The weather had warmed, and it made working in the open stable more pleasant. The peace that came with concentration on a task was a boon as well. The memorial was today. He wouldn't attend if April wouldn't need him. He hoped there was some catharsis there for her.
Eliot heard the crunch of boots outside and looked through the walls. He recognized Savannah from the jewelery and the little skeleton with her. "Morning, Savannah," he spoke up before she reached the stable's open doors.
