RP: Eliot/Leon
Who: Eliot/Leon When: 12-9-11 before Costco trip (Retcon post) Where: Main house Summary: Eliot brings something to Leon's attention.
Unless he'd been spoken to, Eliot had been silent since leaving the safehouse. He'd lost both Parker and Hardison in the attack; he'd lost his family, and the grief he'd felt threatened to overwhelm him every minute of the day on the trip west. They'd all lost people, too many of them. For all of Hanna's training and Eliot's promise to Parker, in the end lives were still taken.
Friday morning dawned at the ranch and Eliot slipped out into the cold once a few others were up and about. He couldn't tell if it was sunny or cloudy, though it really didn't matter, as he used his cane to explore the main area of the ranch. It was the first time he was truly alone, and it was only then that he gave into the grief.
Eventually, Eliot returned to the main house, the fence post looking much worse than his knuckles. More people were awake and eating breakfast. Eliot found out where Leon was and approached him.
"Reverend," Eliot said, pitching his voice low to keep the conversation semi-private. "I noticed there was an apartment attached to the stable. Logic would dictate that the guy hired to take care of the horses would stay in that apartment. Eliot doesn't mind residing with April and Nick at all, but Hawkins would think it was strange and so would any neighboring ranch folk who may visit. Just thought I'd point it out in case it wasn't factored into the decision-making process."
