They'd arrived and Reid didn't feel comfortable here, not yet. He kind of missed the car. It had been safe there, he'd got used to it and while it was cramped he'd fallen asleep in the back and woken up with his head on Auggie shoulder and it had been okay. Now everything was changing again and he was feeling anxious.
But at least there was a chance to be alone and Reid had taken it, finding a spot downstairs alone with a big book about pretty much everything to do with being on a ranch. Maybe he wouldn't need it but at least it helped him focus. Because while he was reading everything else slowly processed in the background.
Morgan approached him and he lay his hand on his book, looking up at him. "Parker took control of sleeping arrangements. She's taken my bed somewhere, I'm sure I'll find it," he said with a little smile, resting his chin on his knees. "You?" He asked, because it was polite and he was trying for polite.
