One day he was going to get better at these things, Mike was sure of it - he just didn't know when that day was going to be, and it was increasingly frustrating to see how he was getting things wrong and not know exactly how to fix it. He'd made a life out of having all the right answers and suddenly with Harvey everything he knew wasn't right anymore. He'd just gotten used to the idea of being second choice for so long that it was hard dealing with the idea that he might be the first suddenly with someone he wanted so much.
Mike bit the corner of his lower lip while Harvey leaned back, it was hard to believe how close they'd gotten - he'd have never imagined it was within the realm of possibilities when they'd first met. "I like having my own room too." At least it gave him a place to contain his mess, he had his own brand of organized chaos in his room and he didn't want to bring that into Harvey's space. It wasn't like his own apartment where he could spread his things out, anything that was his Mike kept contained and together in one place.
"Yeah? You don't mind?" Maybe he sounded a little bit too pleased by the thought that he could sleep there with Harvey every night, but Mike had always been easily pleased.
He huffed a short breath of amusement and shook his head, "I like all of that too, I'd like to sleep here with you." He told him. "Might be nice to have someone around every night to warm my feet up on."
