They knew that they'd have to change things around, but Derek had hoped to do it slowly and not during the holiday season, but with the phone call in the middle of the night and four of their more experienced agents leaving, they had no choice. When they had planned the housing arrangements, they had been worried about space to grow, but now with the pregnancies, they knew that it was a matter of time they run. Space wasn't a concern, escape routes were, so they had to rearrange not just roommates but buildings.

Good morning everyone,

I'm truly sorry to have to do this, especially now that everyone was starting to plan for the holidays, but we have no choice. I'm sending the new housing arrangments. As you will notice, there have been major changes, not just in terms of room mates but buildings.

The buildings are ready for immediate use and moving should be done today. Those of us not moving will help. Just let us know and we'll come around. Also four agents are out on a mission. We'll move their furniture and anything they haven't taken with them to Building 2, apartment 1C. Penny, we're sorry to do this to you, but your assignment to Building 6 is temporary until Renko gets better and then you'll move to Building 5.

If there are any questions, let me know.

Tyra looked at the email that morning as soon as she switched the computer on. She had planned to spend the day hanging out around the house and reading some of John's notes before her first class the next day. The email had her raising her eyebrows though and she replied quickly. She hadn't expected to move so quickly and she'd be sad to not be living with Harvey and Neal but it could be worse, she guessed.

	Eliot did a news search on an LAX attack and listened as the screen reader reported what happened. It sounded pretty bad. But he had an answer if Parker or Hardison questioned why the sudden move. April couldn't say that she wasn't utterly relived when she saw who she would live with. When first seeing the email she'd been at once worried and concerned, especially since Mike had left during the night only leaving a note behind. (Not that she hadn't heard him leave, she was too easily woken up these days). Her concerns vanished the moment she saw Eliot and Nick's names, however. As worried as she knew she'd continue being over Mike, she couldn't imagine a better arrangement when it came to living with someone.

When she got the text from Eliot, she smiled, shaking her head at him. She was glad he didn't seem too upset to be leaving Parker and Hardison. She answered before starting to pack her things.

We could cook together and possibly teach Nick a trick or two too.

Having packed her own things, April went to see how Nick was doing before they had to deal with Mike's things and the rest of the stuff in the flat. Nick was still in his room, she assumed packing, music playing across the flat. She would have asked him to turn it down, but she found that she didn't mind.

"Nick?" she said, raising her voice over the music and knocking on the door-frame of his room. She didn't cross the threshold just waited until she had his attention. "Do you have a minute to spare or are you too busy packing?"

	Nick looked up from the clothes he was stuffing in a trash bag for the move. He gave her a welcome grin. "I'm good. What do you need?" he asked. He'd been working his way methodically through his room, wondering how he'd managed to collect so much junk in less than a month. There were also enough soda cans to wall up his entire doorway. April raised an eye at the amount of soda cans in a pile on the floor, reminding herself to remind him to take care of them in the future. She also glanced at his method for packing. Why were boys so messy?

"I just want to talk to you," April said as she entered the room, taking a seat on the foot of the bed. "The move today had me thinking about the email from the Director a couple of weeks back." It was the first time she'd thought about that email without thinking about the break-up. She hadn't even responded to it herself.

"What would you say to writing to the Director and asking if it's not too late to request that we'd get put in the same house in the case of a new move?" she asked. "If you want to of course," she added. "But personally I like having your around." Also, she'd be worried otherwise, with him missing his parents. Would he tell someone else that? He needed someone to be there for him.

	"Sure," Nick agreed easily enough. "You cook great." And though she was kind of hot, she had that mom-vibe going for her and he wasn't into MILFs. "I wouldn't mind at all." He looked under the bed to find his dirty socks had bred into a small colony. He flattened out, grabbed them a few at a time, and tossed them into the room. "Are you gonna email him?" April smiled, pleased with that answer and with how easy Nick seemed to think the decision was. Looking at him pulling dirty socks from under the bed she did think they'd need a discussion on keeping order in the near future.

"I can do that," she said. "I've finished packing my things anyway. Come out when you're done here and we can help each other on the rest of the stuff and Mike's room, okay?"

She hadn't really been in his room since they broke up, only going in long enough to pick up her things and move them to her own room the very next day. She still thought of him, of sleeping curled up with him in that bed, but there wasn't anything she could do about it. She had to respect his decision, even if she didn't like it.

"Let me know if you need any help decontaminating the room," she added with a teasing grin.
