It wasn't as simple as all that. Spencer had trouble simplifying the things he was passionate about enough for other adults to understand, he assumed it would be more difficult with a child. "I'm not sure I can challenge without overwhelming," Spencer said as he rubbed his hand slowly up and down his inner arm.
He was used to talking to other agents and police officers about behavioral analysis, so he was used to knowing ways to make it easy to understand without being an expert. He was convinced he couldn't teach a young man everything he'd need to know but then he thought about Parker and how much he'd been able to show her just from growing crystals in a closet and she'd retained everything he'd ever told her about them, he was sure of that.
"It's not the responsibility," Spencer assured, shaking his head. "If you think I'm the best person to handle it and that's the best use of my time then I'll think about it and get back to you." He said with a nod. He understood how important education was and he was the last person who'd want someone to go without just because of a change in circumstance. But still the question was, could he handle this?
