Re: Troy/Nell
"Callen. Have you gotten to talk to him? He's been off work and just doing training classes for a bit. But, yeah, he went to Cal." It was one of the few things in his non-classified file and he'd mentioned it during March Madness viewings. So, Nell didn't feel like she was giving his secrets away. Although, she did focus in on the topic of this protest movement she was missing the chance to see unfold at home. "No endgame," she said, shaking her head. "It would be fascinating to watch it unfold, nonetheless. At least, from a political sociology viewpoint."
Nell smiled. "So, you did." She hummed thoughtfully. "I don't know if it's up to your caliber, but Sam and Callen used to play each other in the training room at home. You, or they if you get them to play, could probably convince Deeks to join in for a two-on-two game some weekend. Derek could probably be talked into a game, too. Sounds like his sort of thing. Don't know if Renko or Robert would be up for it. But, now I'm just starting to guess."
Laughing, she nodded. "And she would milk the moment until you felt about an inch tall, even if she knew it was totally innocent."
Waiting to see how he fit sounded sensible, which was probably a relief to some of the guys in charge who were used to getting nothing but problems and denials from new arrivals. "Well, if you need any help figuring it out, just ask. And, maybe once you've got your feet under you with training, you can come up on a day off and have a look at what it is I do and I'll show you how that broadcasting experience helps. It's not really something training will get into in depth. Only so much time to cover everything in seven weeks."
