"If you get the biggest headache, then I'm all ears," he said, with a smile. "I hate being home and doing nothing. It's why I kept buying homes to fix and rent. I kept demolishing them and rebuilding them from the ground up, including electric and plumbing. It was a bitch, but still better than sitting around and doing nothing." People complained about their schedule, but the constant obligations were relaxing.
He look at the screen. "Alexis has been asking about transferring out of OSP. Emily can work with her, get her up to speed to what we do." He nodded. "That's fine. I never knew what to do with the large team anyway. Six is more than enough, and as we said, if it's a potentially dangerous situation, we bring back up." Going to the morgue and talking to local PDs would not require backup.
Derek couldn't help but grin. "Superheroes. We've found that they are different here, right, and no one is going to forget Storm, or Havoc, or Professor X, although I'm not sure that Sam was to be Kitty Pryde." It was hard keeping a straight face at that. "Still it's a good idea, it's simple and we have enough nerds, me included, who can come up with them."
