"So I'm told." Auggie said dryly, the day before had been an exercise in frustration and annoyance and in the end he'd been forced to if not completely accept then at least for the time being go along with the idea that he was in an alternate dimension and stuck with these people.
And so as a part of that he was placed in one of their homes. He was working on getting voices with names now, soon it would be walking patterns and perfumes added to that. He listened while Eliot explained the layout of the place to him, though he preferred to make his own measure of the place.
"I think I'll just end up doing some exploring as you say." It was a little disconcerting living with so many people. Auggie had worked hard to be self sufficient with his blindness, and to be placed not only with so many people but with another one who was blind for all intents and purposes felt a little like starting all over again.
"At least you can't see the game, I'd hate to end up blocking your view in my walking around." He said hand outstretched and moving slowly until he encountered a wall and followed Eliot's instructions to the room that would be his. Though he took his own measures then, counting footsteps and feeling his way around the space, creating a map as he moved.
