"Let's just say he doesn't appreciate my Willie Nelson impression." G winked at her. "But, I think my getting up there and performing on Saturday would surprise him less and make him fuss more." G could just see Sam's over-reaction if he got up and performed, in character because that's who G was, after collapsing and resting for days. Since G was still tired, prudence told him not to push the Big Guy that much when he couldn't fight back.
"I take care enough," he huffed. "And you both seem to have forgotten that carrying on a conversation means eating slower by nature of taking the time to talk."
Sighing, G just shook his head. "Make you feel better? You can see I'm fine right now. The rest was two days ago."
He raised an eyebrow as she continued, but waited until she paused to find a breath. "Considering there are any number of reasons for it that have nothing to do with superpowers, I can find plenty on the net. And I haven't asked Rob because one, until five minutes ago I hadn't considered my power for the aforementioned potential non-superpowers related causes and two, I haven't been in contact with him or anyone else since Tuesday. For some reason, people have been given reason to think I need to rest. Can't imagine why."
