"I'd rather not wait for something that might never happen, in either reality," she said. "If it happens, then fine, but it's not going I'll be waiting for. I have to make something with my life, something that it's likely to happen."

Savannah smiled. "And I was thinking how I'm getting too old not to have a fiance, but it doesn't really matter. We'll just see what happens."

There she went, talking about what she wanted. Couldn't they all figure out that wanting was relative to what they could do. "It's what's best."
