It was impossible to believe, even with the evil Spock comparison. This was just impossible. Sure he'd thought about it and looked into it, but he'd never truly believed that this was possible, or that he'd have anything to do with it.
Eliot was straight forward, but he didn't actually explain it any better than Parker had. Hardison was confused and hearing that they had to become part of this agency, ICIS or what ever it was did not make Hardison happy. He hated being contained or held back, he was a hacker and he liked to live under the radar. His fingers drummed on his knee, looking between the two of them.
Then Parker turned her hand and made a damn fireball and Hardison jerked back from her a bit. "Damn it, woman," he said, as shocked as he was amazed.
It took a moment to get over the power thing, but it made the rest of it a little easier to believe, that was for sure. But it was no less confusing, it didn't actually explain anything. "Eliot, what's your power, man?" He asked, looking across at him.
"Wait so we just sit around this base? Why do people need help? Why do we have to be agents?" Hardison asked, looking between them again. Honestly he was surprised Parker was still here, it wasn't easy to get her to stay in one place.
