Re: Savannah/April
April smiled. "I'm sure your baby is just fine," she said. "But we'll make sure all the same."
As Savannah brought up training, she nodded. "That's true, you'll be seeing a lot of me next week, and yes I'm hoping it will give me a better understanding as well as a better base for giving you advice." At the final comment though, April had a hard time to keep optimistic, she kept smiling, but her smile didn't quite make it to her eyes.
"Is history that no one will find out about still history?" she asked, knowing fully well that she'd never do what she'd wanted to do since she was a child. "I could find the cure for cancer - or fertility problems for that matter seeing how easily we seem to become pregnant - but I wouldn't be able to use it to save people's life because of the situation." She shook her head, and decided that a change of topic was called for. If she thought too much on the things she couldn't do it would only get to her and she wasn't about to be sad when she was at a party.
"That's a great costume," she said. "Have people lived up to your expectations when it comes to costumes? No badges so far at least," she added with a smile. This one was more genuine, she was getting good at pushing away things which had the potential to upset her.
