"Both," G said with another smirk. "We're talking about him because he's your partner. But, he's also my brother and we have similar issues. Plus, you've watched Sam handle me for years. You know more about getting through to him than you think."
He shook his head. There was only so far he was going to lead this subject, after all. Though, Renko might need a hand in reading his brother. "Or, if you were giving up and he'd already said he'd make that request, you could have just sat back and waited for the change to happen," he pointed out. "But, okay. Point taken. And, that's my brother you're calling an insufferable asshole there. Don't make me prove why I'm more than up to the task of holding down training in Sam's absence."
Not that G was in Sam's league by a long shot. But, held his own better than most, if only from years of training with Sam as partners.
"What pisses you off most?" he asked. "That he ran off and left you to tell me about it? Or that he ran off without telling you except for that letter?"
