"Then he must be a nice man to you," she said with a shrug. "The truth is that most people are nice to the ones they know. It's harder to be nice to the people you don't know. I try not to do anything dishonest, though, and I'm sure that's not a rule that applies to con men."
Alexis nodded. "And you're just asking. What's the worse that can happen? They say no."
She laughed. "You sound too excited about the possibility of forging money and defrauding the government we work for. You might want to tone that down." Usually she would be doing everything she could to discourage him, but if this government tried to kill them, then it wasn't a right and legal government.
