Re: Brian/John
John wanted to argue. It wasn't a waste of time if it could keep Brian safe. But, even he had to admit that if Brian couldn't remember names and faces it wouldn't do a whole lot of good. And, he thought he had a pretty good idea of how high Brian was, it was why he never said 'no' to going to the clubs, even before they were together, unless he stood a good chance of convincing Brian to do something else. John hated the idea of Brian out there, stoned out of what little self-preservation he possessed, with no one to watch his back.
"At least three men, too," he pointed out, letting the other drop. "And, do I want to know how you settled on 'Bambi' for April? I assume the Disney character because she doesn't really strike me as the blonde bimbo type. Although, she doesn't have a security-minded bone in her body. She's a sweet person. But, she hasn't found the mindset yet that means she thinks of things like security easily. We'd have to be careful about how she came up with anything. I'm not losing you because she wasn't careful about having samples of blood or tissue around for the government to get it's hands on. There's enough playing God going on with this whole situation."
John snorted. "The second one is why you're twelve. The first, is just you being you. The last is you with a death wish." If what John was starting to suspect was true, Brian was lucky neither Callen or Sam had truly hurt him yet. "I'm just glad he's too honorable to actually shoot you the way I think he wants to sometimes."
Stepping closer, he wrapped his arms around Brian and smiled wickedly. "And here I thought it was your pleasure. Lucky teenager to have such a responsible instructor. I'm afraid I can't do that, though. I have to make a big deal...you're not old," he finished with a smirk. If there was one thing John knew by now, it was not to make a big deal out of things like this. It was enough just to know. He kissed Brian again. "In this case, you want me to worry about you right now. You're still the only person I've ever been with, Brian. If you're okay, I'm okay and we can both breathe a little easier."
