"Maybe it's a bit of both," Mike conceded with a grin. He'd certainly managed to survive forty years without Robert there to hold his hand, so Mike was pretty sure he could continue doing it. Not that he didn't enjoy the company, but that wasn't really the point, now was it? Mike chuckled and nodded, "Yes, I'm well aware of that too, don't worry."
Mike just shook his head, "You and I view marriage as two very different things, but then I suppose all things considered that shouldn't surprise me in the slightest." He'd never be able to look at marriage the way Robert did. "Though even if we did, I still wouldn't be getting married."
Chuckling Mike preened, just because he liked teasing Robert. "Yes, I know it's all about you, I haven't forgotten that yet. He nodded though when Robert said to find him if things continued to act strange for him. "You'll be the first to know." He assured him.
