Re: Savannah/G
"I don't make Christmas and New Year's. Those are a week apart every year," she answered, laughing, "but yes, more than a week apart. I want to move into our house first, get settled, make sure I have a working kitchen. This wasn't easy without one, and I don't like parties with no real food."
Savannah frowned. "What mental image? What are you talking about now? The dating, the being together, the making out? You'll have to be a little clearer." It was easier to ask than to get upset just to discover that he meant something completely different.
"That's sweet of you, but we aren't hurting each other. We're being very upfront about everything. I've told you everything; I have no reason to hide things from him, and Marty has been honest with me as well." She smiled. "You can worry all you want as long as you don't push those worries on him. He's not you or Sam. He might want to be like you, but he's not as detached. You aren't as detached as you want people to think."
