The shift in mood was noticeable, and April simply watched him while he talked, not really cleaning. "Mike is happy as long as he can find a spoon to have his yogurt," April joked, a warm smile on her face. "Neither of us mind," she then assured him.
She took a look at the measuring cups and teaspoons and it was a good thing they weren't made out of plastic she supposed. She would have to look through the rest of the things in the kitchen, more things made out of metal would help she supposed. Something to help Eliot know how far he'd turned up the heat in the oven or on the stove. She would have to read more about the none medical parts of this.
"We'll work something out for the kitchen that works for you and me and Mike will get used to it." She hesitated, then decided it was better to ask than to let him burn himself because she didn't. "Do you want my help getting that into the oven or do you want to try yourself?"
