The email he'd gotten from Savannah earlier in the day reminded Marty he needed to talk to her, he'd spent most of the day before considering what Sam had said - thinking about Michael, and Jess, and of course, Savannah. In the end the idea of a relationship was still something that had him itching to run for the door, it was against all the rules he made for himself, all the things that he'd put in place to keep him safe, but he couldn't deny Sam's point. If something happened to Savannah ...
So he'd come to talk to her, before the party, or at least he hoped it would be. It was still early in the day and he really doubted anyone else would be there so soon.
"Just a bit yeah." He agreed when she opened the door grinning, and then he stepped inside. "I don't mind helping out." It was the least he could do considering he was interrupting her plans, and he remembered how much she'd wanted to have some kind of party for tonight, it was just a shame they hadn't gotten into the house yet to make it happen.
"Think you have everything under control for tonight?" He asked her.
