Some people were touchy feely and some people liked to just talk and talk and talk, Harvey considered himself neither. But here he was with Mike so maybe there were exceptions to the first part. "I still would have," he said quietly.
He could picture the names scrolling through Mike's mind, one after the other and Harvey closed his eyes, rocking them back and forth a few times. Days like today he stayed home, refused to watch the tv, drank scotch and watched old movies. It was better to just avoid thinking about it.
"I know." Harvey said simply, but knowing that even if they didn't talk it wouldn't stop Mike thinking.
Laying back against the pillows he rolled onto his side and pulled Mike down into his arms. "You know, when I was in college, I had a mullet. For a month. And I thought it looked good," Harvey said gently, looking down into those big blue eyes. "And I'm not even kidding."
