Re: Spencer and Mike
"I suppose there is also that." Mike chuckled - he didn't get a lot of that. People who didn't really want to think about his mind like that, but for the most part people thought it was cool, some were jealous, and others didn't seem to care. "I kinda like it, to be honest. I wouldn't want to suddenly wake up one day and not have it." It would be like the one thing that made him worth anything had been taken, and Mike wasn't sure he could handle that.
Mike let himself glance briefly at Harvey, watching him look like he was actually having a good time for once instead of like he was just waiting for the world to end. It was a better look for him, and Mike smile before turning his attention back to Reid.
"I think that would have been nice, to not have time to start coming up with ideas of what could have happened." Mike admitted. Given the amount of information he had stored in his head, he had a lot of ways to take a conspiracy theory after all, and none of them were good. "Still, things happened the way they did and now we're here. So -" He shrugged. Not much to be done to change it or think that it really mattered how they'd been brought in.
Mike smiled when Reid told him he still thought of himself with the same title he held back at home, in the same position. "I think that'll probably stay for a while, in my case." They were trying, breaking down barriers that might have forever stayed in place if all they'd ever been was Partner and associate, but he still felt it there between them. "I owe him too much to just forget about that."
