Re: Spencer and Mike
"It's been my experience that they stare at you for a while then make you show them again until they get used to the idea." Mike chuckled, he didn't mind, he was more than used to it after all. "Yeah, I've never met anyone who could do that before." And considering it wasn't exactly a skill most people had he hadn't really expected to meet anyone else who could do it.
He grinned. "You should have seen Harvey's face the first time I did that for him." It was no surprise that he remembered it perfectly, still it was one he liked to hold on to. When he'd finally gotten past the point where he thought Harvey might kick him out to the police no doubt still looking for him in the halls of the hotel, and instead thought he might actually have a chance at the job.
Mike winced in sympathy for Reid, he didn't blame him for feeling uncomfortable around Brian, just the brief encounter Mike had with him was enough to know how that might have gone for Reid. "He does seem to have his own way of doing things." And it seemed to work for him, so Mike couldn't really say anything.
"Yeah we had a chance to look around for a while and come up with a few conspiracy theories before we woke up in the interrogation room." Mike told him. Actually seeing the way things were different helped make all of it a little more real, a little easier to accept the explanation they'd been given.
Mike nodded, "Yeah, I'm his associate." He told Reid. "Was his associate?" He shrugged, not really sure what was the case anymore. Whether Harvey was his boss or not, he supposed not, since they were both on an equal playing field at the moment, but it felt a little wrong.
