Re: Spencer and Mike
"I like the video games because they're sort of mindless," And when he couldn't get his hands on pot he needed something to help with that, it was just nice to focus on pushing buttons in the right order for a while rather than thinking. "We should play sometime though, it'd be nice to play against someone who actually knows what they're doing for a change." He suspected Reid would probably beat him easily but that wasn't the point.
Mike nodded at the offer of reading the research. "Actually that would help a lot if I could do that." He didn't really go around talking about his memory and how it worked and how he absorbed information, he just did it. Though it might have been obvious in the classes at least the academic classes, the physical stuff took a little more effort. But reading the research would help him understand this and get a better hand on all of it than he'd had up to now.
If nothing else could be said for Reid it was that he was a saint for letting Mike get away with that really horrible excuse for what no one could ever call a joke. "Right, not a big deal, just a little deal." Now and forever, things with Harvey could not go into the big deal territory.
Mike nodded, it did make things easier though even with the complications and everything else. "I think it would have been really depressing to land here with no one you knew."
