"Yes, it was the first thing I got when I arrived here," Spencer said, giving a nod. "I like video games, too. But chess is my favourite, I like how slow it is, thought out, logical." He shrugged, he liked computer games, but he got bored quickly and hitting buttons got dull fast.
Before he'd started working on the research himself he'd felt doubtful about it too, but now he'd seen them work and start to wrap their heads around things and he was hopeful. "If you're interested, you could probably get your hands on some of the research? Read for yourself?" Spencer offered.
Reid's head tilted more as Mike tried to explain the joke and it really didn't seem like it was supposed to be funny. But he really wasn't good at jokes so it looked like he was even more out of touch than he'd thought. "Okay, so, not a big deal. Just a little deal?" Spencer suggested.
"Yes, they're from my team back home," he said as he glanced back at Morgan taking a slow deep breath. "It makes it easier, Spencer said with a little shrug.
