Re: Renko and Harvey
Mike grinned and tapped his temple before pointing at Harvey. "I wouldn't be very good at undercover work if you'd known from the start, now would I?" He chuckled. "No one ever suspects the beard."
"It's all part of the training, when you've been doing this as long as I have you'll learn how to make all the best jokes." He assured Harvey with an easy grin. Though that was all Mike really, a whole life time of experience leading him to the point where he could make jokes like that while keeping a straight face.
Snorting Mike nodded, "I never understood the appeal myself, though I suppose I'd spent too much time in a uniform myself for it to have much effect on me." He winked at Harvey. It had been years since he'd had a real uniform though, and part of him preferred it that way. Leaving that behind after he'd left New York.
"The short straw?" Mike asked, arching an eyebrow at Harvey. For a man who surely had made a living of being better than everyone around him, Harvey certainly seemed to have lost that since he'd arrived here. "No short straws when it comes to housing. Everyone has to live somewhere, and I look out for whoever gets assigned to me, that's the way it works." Well there were short straws, just not in the way Harvey seemed to be thinking.
