Re: Spencer and Mike
"Some people just don't think it's important," Spencer said, knowing he'd met more than a few people who didn't consider fairness to be at all vital in their daily activities. "Okay, being recognized is nice, even I'll admit that," he said with a smile.
"That's her," Spencer said, smiling affectionately as he thought about her. Maybe being here hadn't been ideal but meeting her wasn't something he could wish hadn't happened. "See, now Chess, I prefer Chess, there are only a limited amount of moves on a board, but there is more to it, it's all out there on the table," Reid said with a smile. He found Poker boring but he could play Chess for weeks if given the opportunity.
"We are working on it," he said gently, knowing that didn't actually make it any better, but that it was just something you said. "I've never met such an intelligent group of people in my life, if anyone can, we can."
He struggled a bit with people, but he was good at hiding it, he needed to be. "Good," Spencer said with a little smile, glancing at Mike's friend before his eyes found their way back to Morgan. He was just keeping track of everyone, that's all. "So it's going to become a big deal?" Reid asked, tilting his head a little bit.
