Re: Spencer and Mike
"Some people just don't care about being fair." Mike said and sighed, he'd met more than enough people like that to last a lifetime, though there seemed to be no shortage of them. "It helps if someone other than you acknowledges it occasionally, otherwise it's just endlessly frustrating as well."
"Parker, she's the blonde right?" He asked, he didn't really have trouble remembering names and faces, but he liked to be sure, not having had time to really get to know anyone here well yet. "If you really do know all those statistics I'd be willing to bed that you're better than me, but I'd be willing to give it a shot." He said grinning. Mike could admit when there might be someone better than him, especially when it was just something like cards.
"Not that having a point will do anything to get us home any faster." Mike conceded, which was depressing too in it's own way.
Mike chuckled softly and nodded, "I'll remember that." He promised. He thought Reid probably was easy to talk to, he seemed decent enough, perhaps a bit socially awkward but he didn't blame the guy if he was as smart as he said he was. And usually when they were able to casually throw out how smart they were, they were both very smart and very awkward. "When it does become a big deal you'll be the one I come to talk to."
