“Each to their own,” Harvey said with a smile and a shrug. He didn’t care about being a soldier, he trained because he had to, because he wasn’t going to get his ass kicked and humiliated every day, but he didn’t do it out of any real desire to participate. Life was about doing things you didn’t want to do. “I’ll just hope it’s not contagious.”
Harvey knocked Mike playfully with his elbow after he cuffed him. “Ground me? Wow, you’re taking me right back to when I was a rebellious teen.”
He scoffed again, the idea of him looking touchy or feely really were that absurd. “Some people even say warm and fuzzy,” he said, leaning back against the window ledge and realizing he’d gone and started enjoying himself, now that was a surprise. Harvey blamed the alcohol. Renko called his bluff and Harvey just grinned, raising his eyebrows. “Sorry, I don’t like an audience and I think if you and I cuddled up it’d be electric.”
