Re: Renko and Harvey
Never much of a people person, even under normal circumstances, dealing with so many different personalities wasn’t ideal. But he wasn’t looking for friends, even with Mike’s never ending nagging in his ear that he should try to fit in and make friends.
He didn’t want to be anyone’s enemy here, least of all the guy who he had to share some nightmarish dorm type house with. As far as it went, Renko wasn’t the worst roommate he could have been sidled with. He did think he’d been separated from Mike as a punishment though, not that he was about to go admitting to conspiracy theories.
“I don’t think it’s easy for anyone, I’m not of the mind that I’m that special,” he said as he rolled his eyes. “Yeah well, I don’t mind difficult, pretty sure you can hate my mood as much as you want but so long as I do what I’m told I won’t wake up dead.”
Mike’s hand came down on his shoulder and he gave a tiny huff of a laugh. “That’s the nicest thing anyone has said to me since I’ve arrived. Are we having a moment? This feels like a moment,” Harvey said with a genuine smile, knocking his shoulder against the other man’s.
