Cassie gave him a nervous smile in return, a bit taken aback at the feeling of nervy energy she sensed from the young man facing her. Not sensed in some arcane fashion, just... he reminded her almost of a one of the rescued greyhounds one of her friend's had when it saw a rabbit in the backyard. All twitching in anticipation and ready to bolt. Although why he'd feel that way around her, assuming it was because of her, she had no real idea.
Taking the seat he motioned her towards, she nodded at his offer for water. "That would be nice, thanks." She wasn't terribly thirsty, but holding a water bottle would give her something to do with her hands. His nerves seemed to be affecting her slightly. "I must admit, I was a bit surprised by the call. It's been several years since I left the foster system. I didn't think I'd ever hear from Mr. Tunsten again." Which would have been just fine with me.
