Apollo couldn't help but sigh with annoyance. He'd been genuinely interested in that one. Thank you, Pan. The fact that the stupid goat hadn't outed them hadn't helped in the least. "Thanks, Pan. Thanks a whole lot."
"Sam! Break's over," Marco called out pointing to the stage.
"I've gotta go. I'd say it was good to see you but my daddy taught me never to lie," Sam said picking up his Gibson and slinging the strap across his chest. "See you around Pan. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing a lot of each other in the future. The nose knows."
With that Sam threaded his way through the suddenly crowded back stage and headed off to finish his set. Pan and even Hilde were pushed out of his mind to focus on the music and pleasing his fans. There'd be plenty of time to deal with all of that later.
