Andrei was used to Bryte's lack of social grace. He accepted it and forgave all his missteps, because he knew that the man wasn't trying to make an ass out of himself. He simply didn't follow the rules, regulations, and guidelines of correct conduct in the presence of strangers (or friends for that matter). It was a weakness, but there was no true weakness when one basked in the presence of the One True God. The Elder Priest felt the warmth of the Father's love all around his superior and paid him the utmost respect because of it.
He widened his eyes as the man spoke about being directed by God. He would have been pleased and almost impressed if it hadn't been for the amusement dancing in the other's eyes. He was making fun of religion it seemed, but it was not Andrei's right to judge him. He was called to be understanding and patient, to help him toward the Light.. not verbally smash him because he hadn't found it yet.
He didn't glare at Bryte for the blunt comment. He, too, was curious.. and instead of inserting anything further, he sat back a bit and continued to eat his sandwich, interested as to how the man would respond.
