"Still, it is important that the right thing be done, and you are clearly blessed with knowing the desires of the One True God." He gave such a powerful statement bluntly, it was his right and his gift. He saw visions, had divine truths revealed to him, he was Chosen and could make such decrees. So far nothing Andrei had suggested had been a disaster, or even a flop. It had all been powerful and effective, and Bryte genuinely wished to empower and encourage such people. He may not have been able to encourage them by beautiful, flowing words, but he could give them more power to further their message.
He started on another bite when someone butted into their conversation. Bryte was a rather fiercely private person, which only made his position as head of the church more strange, and he bristled at the intrusion. His mouth was open and the sandwich halfway in when their conversation was interrupted. He removed the sandwich from his mouth, closed it, pressing his lips into a thin line, and set his food back on his plate. He was annoyed, greatly so, but did his best to keep most if his irritation off his face. It was easy enough to not glare, but his pale eyes still darkened a shade with irritation.
He glanced to Andrei, answering his question, "I am sure there is much good we can do there," then he waited. Waited to see if Andrei, with his hair as golden as his tongue would speak to the intruder. Bryte really could be a stick in the mud, he knew the way he expected things to run, and if they did not go that way he became irritated. At least he had learned manners enough to keep his thoughts on the matter to himself.
