Pausing only briefly to throw on the first clean shirt he could put his hands on, Birdy kept his wife's hand all the way down to the kitchen where his favorite TA was waiting. He laughed when she spoke, not minding at all the early morning wake up call. Not that he'd ever really mind Maya coming by. He didn't usually mind when anyone came by.
"Not a problem, Maya," he greeted her, "I even put a shirt on just so I could hug you, hope you don't mind because that's happening." But, knowing that she wouldn't be able to see him coming, he still have her a moment to protest, should she choose to, before he leaned in to wrap an arm around her shoulders.
