WHO: Liam Cokely and Cameron ValdÃs WHEN: October 23. Afternoon. WHERE: Guest Apartment 1C. WHAT: Cam figures Liam could use someone to talk to. RATING: PG-13 in case they swear STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
After receiving the email from Sera, Cameron wasn't quite sure what to do. He wasn't a counselor, he wasn't a teacher. Hell, half the time he wondered why anyone had even made him a TA. Despite all these things that he wasn't, Cam could think of one thing that he was. Liam's friend. Even if that weren't the case, he certainly understood what he might be going through. Sure, all he'd heard was what the other professors had been able to recount of the incident. Liam had supposedly lost his temper on his roommate and girlfriend. Cam tuned out the majority of the gossip because he knew from experience that word of mouth was only halfway accurate. He also knew that being suspended right before festivities for Halloween, and after such a mess had happened with the mission, must have been making Liam feel worse. Being secluded as if he were a danger probably didn't help matters either. Being someone who had repeatedly lashed out in high school for various reasons, Cameron knew that sometimes just having someone around who wouldn't judge was all you needed. So it seemed his decision was made.
He was going to see Liam Cokely.
It took him a couple of days to get his TA work completed, so he couldn't go right when the news hit, but Cam hoped it wouldn't be taken in offense. He'd finished with his classes for the day and then headed right over. Guest housing wasn't hard to get to, though admittedly he had never been there in all his time here. Finding the right apartment, he knocked on the door, hoping the surprise visit would be received well. He didn't know how Liam was doing, mentally at least, so this was a big gamble.
