"[I think I can handle that,]" he murmured to her before stealing a quick kiss. It sounded like an excellent plan to his ears. He liked to dance with and he wasn't especially good at small talk so quickly said hellos seemed like a fair suggestion. Normally, he wasn't especially good at public displays of affections either but for the evening that particular aspect of his Hades' normal awkwardness was gone from him -- it was lifted right from his shoulders for the night with the knowledge Demeter could see him with her and was further fueled by his fears that Demeter was going to wreck his life. It was preemptive spiteful revenge in a way... Masked in marital joy.
