Erato had listened to Polyhymnia's song, feeling a swell of familial pride even as she remained silent. Her voice would have marred the beautiful reverence of it. She drifted over to her sister's side, placing a hand on her back. She had told Freyr that this was something she needed to face alone. What she had meant was that this was something she needed to face with her family--her real Greek family who understood the burden of permanence and the unacceptable loss of their patriarch.
Persephone mourned in a formal manner. She was there to witness the passing of Zeus, their King. She had never much had a relationship with her father that was close, but she certainly respected him enough to be there.
