Shiri, then Frigga
Shiri could do comfort. She was easily better at comfort than at being a backrest at the very least. Gently, she brushed her sister's hair from her face, "It cannot be bad when you have so many people around you to help. We will take care of you and them." Purposely, she didn't take her eyes from her sister, lest they dart to the Norse who might be able to imply in some way that this was bad.
Frigga, on the other hand, tastefully tried not to laugh and managed it completely, keeping a warm but almost professional straight face now. Her hands smoothed along Val's swollen midsection slowly in concentration, "The only thing that is bad is they all want to be born first. I can guide them so they will stop that foolishness. Do you have a preference of birth order?" The question was posed directly to Val, ignoring the father of the children sitting right next to her on the bed. If this wasn't the 21th century he wouldn't even be in the room so he remained silent... at least for now.
