After what felt like an eternity for the poor muse, Shiri launched out of Adam's car almost before it came to a stop outside Aphrodesia. No more car... No more. She shivered the last of her discomfort away before smoothing out the short cashmere dress that she had decided was revealing enough to be acceptable but covered her enough to be comfortable while in the crowd and still sober.
But now she waited, staring at the bouncer. She had to wait. If she didn't, she could probably get inside faster than the line before her but Adam would probably be made to wait without her.
