hello! now that she's accepted, i'd love to get some lines with all of you wonderful people. this here is maureen rioux (pronounced ree-yoo), a soon to be twenty-five year old boston native. she has a long, detailed bio here that will explain her past, but the basics are as follows: maureen is the middle child of two, raised in a loving family, but unfortunately a nasty secret from her parents ruined their marriage and sort of caused a rift in the family when she was sixteen. her parents were swingers with their best friends, and eventually her father left her mother for the other woman. she now has the woman as a step-mother, the man as a step-father after he married her mother years later, two step-siblings, and a half brother from her dad. it's a bit of a mess, and mo and her siblings are disgusted by it, but she's sort of over it and just pretends she doesn't know the dirty details. otherwise, maureen attended quinnipiac university in connecticut for college and graduate school, is a public relations major currently working as an assistant to the vp of special events for omni hotels. she's social, friendly, outspoken and emotional, and currently lives with her older sister and her sister's friend. she was gone for about five years before moving back to boston in 2011. ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) felx is her high school sweetheart and basically the love of her life, but unfortunately they had to break up when he went to kansas for school instead of to connecticut like they had planned. they're good friends, but he's with someone else and that kills her every day.
so, that's mo in a nutshell! i'd love to work out friends and anything else, she can use a whole bunch of lines!
