So I figured I'd put this guy out for lines again since he's been feeling very talkative lately and he's also the first of my characters that I brought into this game and I love him dearly. This is J.R. Helmsly. He is a Boston native who comes from a large family - he's the oldest of five - four brothers and a sister. He is also a father of two - Emma (8) and Jenner (1). He's currently dating and soon to be living with ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) farrahleigh. He's a family friend of chevonne through her late sister. He is also a friend of a few people, including vera and lukadelrossi. As a teenager into his early thirties, J.R. was a first class screw up - barely scraping by high school, dishonorably discharged from the Marines within a year of joining (a fact he's very ashamed of), and had a gambling problem. However, when his ex bailed, he got serious about trying to raise his daughter and do right by her. He left for a couple years in 2010 when he reconnected with his ex and had another kid with her, but they couldn't work it out and he won full custody. Since returning, he was pretty serious, all about his kids, and fairly anti-social, but since his life has taken a few considerable turns for the better, he's nearly giddy (really it's ridiculous). Anyway, I was thinking I'd put him out for lines - old friends, new friends, coworkers (he works at a boxing gym and also as a bartender some weeknights), etc. Even if we can't think of anything, speak up and we'll just throw 'em together a bit more and see what happens organically (I love organic lines).
