"Where I'm from, the women are often more powerful than the men. That goes for werewolves and humans." Because hunters trained their women to be leaders, while the men were trained to be soldiers. "But it's the same, bitten wolves either survive the first change, or they don't. Many of them don't. Some of them turn into something else. It's a complicated flowchart to try to keep track of all the information." He rolled his shoulders. "It's just as well I'm retired. I don't have the memory I used to have."
