The baggage that was hurled on to the table was unexpected and Alec found his eyes widening in surprise. Okay, that wasn't what he had been expecting to hear when Jace said he had a predicament. He was ashamed to admit he felt a pang of annoyance when his brother admitted to being attracted to a man. Raziel, how many years had he thought about Jace like that? It was a slight slap to the face to know there was some version of him out there that might have had a chance. Alec was well over Jace, happily with Magnus in fact, but youthful emotions still cropped up at times.
"In my world you were both told the lie that you were siblings, but it came out you are a Herondale. A birthmark as I remember tells the truth." He shifted in his chair, crossing his legs as he fixed Jace with a look. "I think you are overwhelmed and need some time to figure out yourself, Jace. There is nothing wrong with being attracted to multiple people, but what matters is how you handle it. Have you talked to Clary or this mundane about your feelings?"
Morgenstern was another issue. Alec frowned deeply as he shook his head. "Jonathan is someone I had hoped would never arrive here." The war and devastation that demon had unleashed on the Shadowhunters still haunted him. Max... Alec cleared his throat faintly as he sat up straighter. "Be careful of him Jace, I will talk to the others. None of us have fond memories of that man or the things he did."
