Veronica really couldn't believe that Keith was there. And of course he'd be there when they were in the middle of a...situation. This whole vampire thing was scary, especially because none of them had a lot of experience with it. There were some people here who did know, but it was still overwhelming. People were still coming in, and they were aware of the danger when they first arrived.
Veronica knew that her father thought she was nuts with talk of vampires and all that. It didn't matter, as long as he was safe. And there was no way that she was letting Steve go get him on her own. She knew that Steve wished she would have stayed behind, and she knew Keith felt that way too. But it was hard to tell Veronica anything. And this was her father. She trusted Steve, there was no question about that, but she still wanted to be there.
She wasn't surprised when he handcuffed her to the steering wheel, she'd known that was coming. He didn't want to put her in danger. And she had sort of told him how she could sometimes...get into trouble. Oh well, at least she was here and she'd see her dad soon.
"Be careful." She told him, nodding at his words. She'd be fine though, right? There didn't seem to be any vampires around here.
