Daisy could not just leave a kid here on his own. That wasn't in her nature. She knew what it was like to be bounced around from foster home to foster home, and though there had been reasons for that she didn't understand at the time, that was not what she wanted for Lucas. Lots of people here had taken in wards, and Daisy thought it would be fine if she did too. She could definitely keep Lucas safe.
It didn't take her long to find him, and she saw him standing there on the beach. She waved and made her way over. It wasn't safe out here, but now that she was there...well, no one would be messing with him. "Hi Lucas, I'm Daisy." She introduced herself again. Of course they'd talked on the network but it was different when meeting in person.
