"New town, new home. We need to know what we're dealing with here," Marcel said.
That was part of the reason he was out. He and Klaus had plans to lead up the vampire faction again and Marcel knew it was only a matter of time before Klaus and Hayley would want the wolves to fall in line too. Marcel wasn't sure about the witches, that was something he would have to speak to Davina about. Such a powerful little girl, he wanted her to have half a chance at a normal life but it was too late for that. Davina was regent, here, New Orleans or wherever. It was her mantle to leave or take.
"But you're not wrong. Getting out of that house full of tension? It's an added bonus. Cheers to us doing a whole lot of this because those Miakelsons know how to fight and better yet, they know how to hold grudges." He clinked his glass against Cami's.
He didn't want to sugarcoat it for her either. Once Klaus and Elijah kissed and made up, Klaus would probably pick a fight with Kol or Rebekah or another member of the clan that struck a particular nerve at a particular time. Klaus was made of fire and ice and there was no in between. He loved you or hated you just like people tended to love or hate him with no middle ground. Marcel wondered if he would be that insane if he lived to be a thousand. He hoped not.
"By the way, you got my full permission to smack the hell out of me if I ever start acting like that." He smiled at her.
