Marcel's word made sense, and Cami could understand why he would feel that way. She just didn't see him quite as a Mikaelson. He was different, maybe less jaded? He was certainly less paranoid than Klaus was, but that was easy. Klaus was probably the most paranoid person Cami had ever known, and with good reason. She was doing her best to help them, but there were a thousand years of issues, she'd barely scratched the surface of, even through all their little chats.
"I wouldn't either." Cami said. She was fond of Davina, and worried about her often. She knew the girl had a lot of her own issues, and pressures that no seventeen year old girl should have to face. They all had to be different versions of themselves, what with everything they'd been through.
She laughed when he asked why she was staying there. It was a valid question. She didn't have to. Elijah had asked her to. She supposed having their own personal shrink on retainer wasn't a bad thing, but it wasn't easy being one of the only humans in the house.
"I'm there because Elijah requested it." She admitted. "A lot of good that's doing, because neither of them will seem to bend on this particular issue." She nodded at the bartender who filled her shot glass once more, and downed the shot. She could get drunk, easily. She probably needed to slow down.
"And it's not all bad." She added, shaking her head with a little smirk. "They grow on you, don't they?"
