Klaus had promised to meet with Hope and take her out for a Father-Daughter outing of sorts, but first, he had to conference with Marcel. Now that two versions of his beloved Hope had appeared here in this place, he had to make sure it was safe for both of them. And who better to aid him in that than Marcel himself? Sure, he had his brother here as well as his sister, but Marcel was his protege, the one who had succeeded him in ruling over New Orleans. There was no one he trusted more when it came to matters of governance, though he was not about to admit that out loud. So, before he embarked on his most interesting little shopping adventure with his now fully grown daughter, he summoned Marcel to his quarters to have a very serious discussion about the state of the island. Hawaii was not New Orleans. It was not the home they had once built together and adored, but it was their home now nevertheless, at least for the time being. Or until the little witch could figure out a way to get them all out of here. In the meantime, however, he and Marcel would devise a plan to take over this place. They needed to control the island in order to properly keep their family safe while here or at least that seemed to be the easiest way to go about it in a manner of speaking. Klaus appeared to not be too interested in the ruling of this place, but he had quietly been keeping tabs on the individuals who inhabited it. He noted that those in power tended to be a part of the Hawaii 5-O. This was not surprising, but it was an organization they needed to get on their side, whether by force or otherwise. Then, there was the issue of all those creatures appearing from other worlds. If that was the case, then all sorts of villains from their world could travel through as well. Past, present or future. And that was what bothered Klaus the most. The fear of the unknown. He loathed it. With Marcel’s help, however, they could take over the island and be more prepared for when the time came. He waited in his study nursing a glass of scotch and overlooking a half-finished painting. He wasn’t sure what it was going to be as of yet, but it was certainly a lot more cheerful than his usual work. |
